Things To Do in HS

Welcome to Newfane High School!  We are SO excited to start the 2025-26 school year.  We encourage all students to achieve their potential by becoming fully engaged in the overall high school experience.  Of course we prioritize academic success, and also to fully grow as a young person, we suggest participating in areas of interest such as the band or choir, after school clubs, attending after school events to support classmates, playing a sport or two, and much more.

Dates & Events

October 3  Early release (bus safety drills)
October 10 End of the first five weeks of school
October 13  Columbus or Indigenous People’s Day (No school for staff and students)
October 14  Start of School Spirit Week
  * Tuesday – Tourist / Hawaiian Day (Bonfire & Powderpuff from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.)
  * Wednesday – Pink Day
  * Thursday – Adam Sandler Day
  * Friday – Blue and White Day (Pep assembly in the afternoon)
  * Saturday – Dance ($10 per ticket, on sale during lunches from 10/10 to 10/16) from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
