Student-Athletes

Students at Newfane High School have an opportunity to compete in a full slate of competitive sports in the fall, winter and spring sport seasons. Almost all of the athletic teams have earned "Scholar-Athlete" status which is a testimony of the balance between athletics and academics. Many of the sport teams compete at the sectional and state levels.

OSFCU - Newfane HS Partnership

Students applied and interviewed to be eligible to work in the High School branch of Ontario Shores Federal Credit Union. OSFCU provided the hands on training for all students and they are learning the skills necessary for entry level positions in banking.

Clubs and Afterschool Opportunities

Students enjoy a rich selection of afterschool opportunities at Newfane High School. Included in the offerings are clubs such as Tech & Motor Sports, Model U.N., Student Senate, Business Club and many more. This enhances the overall student experience.

Each year, NCSD holds a district musical that brings together students in all buildings in a first-rate production. The music and art teachers work hand-in-hand with students to prepare and present an outstanding musical performance in the first-class auditorium at Newfane Middle School.
