Senior Year Student Timeline

  • Note: State Deadlines and College Deadlines may differ. Be sure to check with your college of choice. 
  • Use this website to apply for federal student aid.
  • Select the FSA ID tab at the top to request your own personal ID and passowrd.
  • Both student and parent will need their own seperate ID (be sure to record the FSA ID's).
  • Make and retain copies of the submitted FAFSA forms, Student Aid Report (SAR), etc., and store in a safe place.
  • The FAFSA MUST be completed for each year a student is enrolled in college.

For seniors and current college students only. New York State is responsible for funding these scholarships and it is at their discretion whether or not they are made available from year to year.
